Our QA director represented our client in Malaysia complete realistic project estimates. We worked closely with SI Partner and client decision makers to balance cost and benefits. Ensuring correct estimating assumptions submitted by SI Partner but at the same time keeping reasonable estimation that could be delivered by project team and SI Partner without impacting quality and schedule. Projected effort saving of 20%-25% by cutting 'nice to have' tasks, correcting assumptions, and minimizing staffing overhead.
